By the end, I had trouble telling what you were disagreeing about... and therefore, why was Larry screaming so much?
My uninformed impression is that if the Federal Govt. had bought shares with the TARP money they've given to Chase, and B of A, they might not have a majority stake, but they'd have a big enough share to call down the CEO of any of those banks.
The real question is: which of these banks would now be majority owned by us if the TARP money had bought shares? Those banks should be nationalized.
