I can't wait for you to get back, and get your view of the recent criticisms Oprah has been enduring as a result of her opening her Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.

It is ridiculous. People are saying the facility is too lavish for girls in a poor country. In other words, it is too fancy for black African girls. Racism is alive and active in our society.

They are also saying she should have built a school in the U.S. first before going abroad. This country has the resources to improve its schools here; South Africa does not. Oprah can spend her money wherever and however she wants. She does not have to answer to taxpayers; we have elected officials for that. Plus, Oprah has spent millions for charity here, including on victims of Hurricane Katrina, as well as to send young men to Morehouse College, etc. Check the record.

Those are great pics Keith. I'd love to see more pictures of Barbados and it's surroundings.. One of my close friends resides there, and he hates it for reasons I have yet to understand (lol)..Some people take the simple things in life for granted I guess..

Well,Well, Karmatic, I cant imagine why your friend would hate Barbados, the island is beautiful as a paradise. I guess his reasons if he's gay is that Barbados like most other small socieities are intolerant of homosexual behaviour, but the island is lovely and the people are extremely friendly. Should you need photos of Barbados however, I would like to suggest you do a search for Barbados via Google and visits some of the sites of the island or drop me an e-mail at CoollikeBarbados@hotmail.com, and I would gladly provide you with these photos. I am sure Keith would be happy to share some more of his with you

@ Ryan-- From what I've been able to understand, he's frustrated with the people, not the beauty of the island.
He's on assignment there, and yes he is gay..He's also very stuck-up, particular, and superficial.So maybe his problems with Barbados stems from himself...He's my friend of many years and I love him dearly, but he can wreck a wet dream if it were up to him...lol
I plan on visiting Barbados this year if faith has no objections.

Hi Keith,

Your visit to my island of Grenda is remarkable. If I knew you were in Grenada I would have loved to meet you personally.
You may not know this but the Caribbean's charm does not extend to gay people and many gays on the islands are forced underground as a result of the fundamentalist stance taken on such issues.

It would be interesting for you to mention people's reaction (The locals) when u indicated u were gay to them.

Hope u enjoy my island of Grenada and please come again.
