American Idol Predictions

Another week, another episode of American Idol. Last week I was stunned to see Paris Bennett and Chis Daughtry in the bottom three but not surprised at all that Ace got the boot. I have long predicted that Chris, Katherine, Taylor and Paris would be the final four, but it looks like Paris isn't getting the support she deserves. I don't expect her to win, but there's no reason why she should be booted before Kellie "What's A Verb?" Pickler and Elliott Yamin.

With that in mind, tonight I'm offering up my predictions for who will win American Idol, and I have some thoughts on who should win as well. My predictions are posted below. I'll be watching the next few weeks to see if I'm right or wrong.

Who Will Win

1. Katharine McPhee (Wonderful singer and looks good too!)
2. Chris Daughtry (Bo Bice with good looks.)
3. Kellie Pickler (Good ole Southern gal routine charms the viewers.)
4. Taylor Hicks (His eccentricity is his popularity.)
5. Elliott Yamin (He's wearing thin with the audience.)
6. Paris Bennett (Easily dispensable because she's the youngest remaining contestant.)

Who Should Win

1. Chris Daughtry (He's the only one who's clearly a star.)
2. Katharine McPhee (She's the best singer in the bunch.)
3. Taylor Hicks (He's the most original performer.)
4. Paris Bennett (Her voice is remarkably mature for 17.)
5. Kellie Pickler (Good voice but the "dumb blonde" routine is tiring.)
6. Elliot Yamin (His fifteen minutes is expiring soon.)
