Guess who's back? Yes, I am coming back to American Candidate. I will be on the show this Sunday night at 9 p.m. for a special appearance. And you will finally have a chance to vote for me. You can only vote on Sunday night and the votes will be tallied immediately following the show.
Here's how it works. Episode 8 will air on Sunday, September 26 at 9 p.m. on the East Coast and again at 9 p.m. on the West Coast. At the end of the episode, America will vote to determine which candidates will move on to episode 9 and which will be eliminated. Each will be assigned a toll-free telephone number and a text messaging number (there is a small charge to send a text message). The numbers will be announced to the public at the end of the episode...
The public will be able to vote for exactly 2 hours after the airing of the
episode on each coast. The polls will be open from approximately 9:45 p.m. EST until approximately 11:45 p.m. EST following the East Coast airing,
and again from approximately 9:45 p.m. PST until approximately 11:45 p.m. PST following the West Coast airing.
There will be no voting by internet, but the assigned numbers will be posted on the americancandidate.com website at the conclusion of the East Coast broadcast of the episode (approximately 9:45 p.m. EST).
Many of you have asked how you can support my campaign. Well now is the time. Please watch on Sunday and vote immediately after the show. Thanks once again.

Does this mean, as I read it, that you can actually win this thing now?
Are you the only one coming back, or are some others or all the rest of those eliminated coming back?
In any case, it's very good news.

Hi Keith.
Of course I will be voting for you and will get as many people as I know to vote for you.
I'm in Detroit that day, but will make sure to take time to vote for you and tell others to do so.
Good luck.

That's good news. Unfortunately, I won't be able to vote since I'm still in Fiji (where I have lived since 1994) and won't be returning to the U.S. until Tuesday. But I hope you win.

Congratulations! I'm glad you're back. I see AC's producers have come to their senses, as they know you have to at least be among the final two candidates to duke it out for the "Presidency."
I've watched every episode of the show, and had decided that after your premature dismissal that there was no reason to watch the rest of the series. Let me be a little more blunt here: If the show would have continued without bringing you back, Park and Lisa would have conspired against Malia and she would have been sent home. And we would have been left with a white man and a white woman running for "President of the United States." The status quo. Boring. And we know who would win.
Another scenario: If by some "fluke" of nature Lisa were to be voted off next week, leaving Park and Malia, who do you think might win? (Note: I did not say DESERVE to win.) The white boy, of course. No disrespect to Malia or Lisa, but this country is still (,unfortunately,) not ready for a female president--not even a "mock" one.
This is my hunch (and it would certainly be a ratings bonanza for Showtime): The producers want you, Keith, and Park to vie for the title of American Candidate. A progressive Black gay man vs. A fundamentalist White conservative. (Ouch!) The Black Man vs. The White Man. The Gay vs. The Straight. The "Other" vs. The Standard. Prime time drama. Made for television.
No matter. Let us get busy boys (and girls). We've got a campaign to run!
Go, Keith, go!
P.S. No disrespect whatsoever to Malia. I appreciate her intelligence and her commitment to defending her beliefs, as well as those of the massly disfranchised. And I would love to see either her or Keith win this thing. Yet, well, um, I just don't think this is her time.

Hey Keith,
I watched the first few episodes before I left the US and I have been following online since it doesn't show in France. Can I vote from Paris?

Here, according to a public newsletter issued by Showtime, is what will happen Sunday night on "American Candidate." As you see, Keith and the others kicked "off the ballot" are being brought back as potential "Vice Presidential" running mates. Whatever.
I'm glad to see Keith back on the show. One day I actually hope he does become President, but that day would seem to be quite far off. -- Eddie Goldman
This Sunday on American Candidate:
EPISODE EIGHT
PREMIERES SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th
Los Angeles
On Sunday, September 26, the final three candidates arrive in Los Angeles and are greeted with a surprise: a reunion with the seven previously ousted contestants. The candidates will interview this pool of vanquished competitors and choose one to be a "Vice Presidential" running mate. But before the final selection is made, the seven former candidates will take to the radio waves and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the "final three" with conservative radio personality Kim Serafin. The following day, the final three will discuss their platforms on "The Dennis Miller Show" where they will announce their running mates and summarize their candidacies in an appeal to the viewers, who will now be able to cast their vote.

Keith,
This blew my mind. Showtime didn't make you sign a secrecy contract forbidding you to discuss the content of future episodes? For your sake, I hope you don't catch too much heat for announcing your return to AC.
But now that the secret is out, I am sorry to say that my vote is going to Lisa and Chrissy. It's nothing against you, but I just can't stomach Malia. Her threatening tactics at the ballot box (among other things) just totally turned me off.
