Washington -- Minister Louis Farrakhan met with black gay and lesbian leaders yesterday in an historic meeting in Washington, D.C. to discuss gay and lesbian participation in the Millions More Movement March. In a meeting that lasted well over an hour, the Nation of Islam leader met with National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) President Keith Boykin, NBJC Vice President Donna Payne and NBJC Executive Director H. Alexander Robinson.
The meeting was the fourth time NBJC members have met Farrakhan. Boykin met with Farrakhan in Atlanta in February, Payne met with Farrakhan in Washington in September, and all three met with Farrakhan by phone just last month. Also present at the most recent meeting on Wednesday were Rev. Willie Wilson, the executive director of the Millions More March, and members of Minister Farrakhan's immediate family.

Interesting how Willie Wilson isn't in the picture. I'm sure they made some "interesting" comments behind you all's backs when you left. Now that they need someone to show up at their march, they reach out to the gay community. Sorry, I have better things to do than hang out with the homophobes. Have fun.

keith, i have been thinking long and hard about the issue of gays taken part in the march and i would like to know what is the whole purpose of the march aside of raising money and politics? what differences were made from the last march ten years ago and how have the lives of african americans improved based on these marches ? please respond.

Keith, it's being said that you've been asked to speak at the march. Is it true? WOW! It would really balance things out if you AND Cleo Manago are speaking. What a great opportunity!

Willie Wilson is the bitch of the year. On the news when Willie Wilson was told that Keith was going to speak at the March, the little pussy was confused and flustered.
Keith, I think that you should do Assholes of the Year Award. Candidates are Karl Rove, Willie Wilson, President Bush, Bill Frist, William Bennett. The list is so long.

im a little confused on what the minister farrakhan meeting with top gay black officials is gonna change for gay blacks, when we arent aloud to be part of the muslim movement, so what would it prove to march with him in a million man march, is this goin to be the beginning of acceptance from his movemnet or is the million man march just for publicity? concerned!

Keith I am happy and feel absolutely blessed to be able to be alive for this event 10 yrs ago I was on my death bed with AIDS and could not attend the million man march. Today I am blessed to be alive and well. I look anxioulsy to hear what you will say. Good luck and I believe Farahkkan is far more intelligent to understand that there is power in numbers, what affects the Black community is all inclusive, I thank him for his brave and intelligent move towards an open door policy in the Black community, I thank Alicia Banks for informing me of this historical event.
