We're in Virginia Now!By Keith BoykinJune 17, 2004 06:05 PM
Anyone with a valid driver's license (from any state) can vote. They don't even have to live in the area. There are three voting places: (1) The Fountain at Barracks Road Shopping Center, (2) Old Cabell Hall at the University of Virginia, and (3) Central Place at Downtown Mall. Voting is going on right now, and we really need people to turn out! I'm the only openly gay candidate in the race and the only black male, and I'm representing a progressive viewpoint that rarely gets discussed in traditional politics. The conservatives are already organized. Now we can too. Please email me at keithboykin1@aol.com for directions to the voting places, and put "directions" in the subject line of the message. Let's show the world that we can make a difference. Let's get out the word and get people involved. I need your help today. Please spread the word. Thanks. Comments
Keith, thanks for keeping us informed! I can't wait to see the final product. Good luck! Posted by: Christian Grantham at June 18, 2004 10:12 AMPROBLEM! TURNED AWAY AT THE POLLS!?!?! I called that number three times at around 1PM P.S.T. on the 17th. It rang and rang each time and then disconnected. I was not able to cast my vote. What's up with this? Why have some been disenfranchised!?! Posted by: JP at June 18, 2004 03:22 PMGood luck! You're doing great. Hey sexay thang. Meet me in the men's bathroom at 3 am for a good time at Gina's Diner. Posted by: Ed at June 19, 2004 10:33 PMDude you are not cool. I suggest rogaine or maybe a wig but the 2% of the nation just doesn't work if you're running to be the president of the other 98% of the country. Posted by: JustforMen at June 20, 2004 10:41 AMHey baby we be behind you all the way literally and supportively!! And happy fathers day baby!! Do like Michael J. and let the little ones be loved up all night long! You deserve it! Posted by: Harry Dickinson at June 20, 2004 06:20 PMHey sweet baby, I guess we found out you aren't just openly gay last night. This is going to be so easy to win honey, I think we both could write my next book: "How to Beat Out Stupid White People in Reality Shows" Keep it shiny Posted by: Malia Lazu at June 21, 2004 12:02 AMPost a comment
